PalMapLive is an independent service, not affiliated with Pocketpair, Inc. "Palworld" is a trademark of its respective owner.

Terms and conditions of sale

1. Purpose

These terms govern the subscription to the service PalMapLive: an online interactive map with statistics and community tools, connected to the customer's Palworld game server ("the Service").

2. Description of the Service

The Service notably includes: real-time player map, player profiles and progression, leaderboards, statistics, chat linked to the game, notifications, breeding tools, an admin panel, and regular backups of the game server data. The exact content may evolve; changes are included in the subscription.

3. Prerequisites and setup

Setup requires the customer to provide the technical credentials of their Palworld server (REST API and SFTP/FTP access to the save files). Some features depend on what the customer's game server host allows and may not be available with every host.

Setup guarantee: if the Service cannot be set up for the customer's server (incompatible host, unusable credentials), the subscription is refunded in full.

Setup normally happens within 24 to 72 hours after valid credentials are received.

4. Price and payment

The subscription is offered at €1.99 per month. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code. Payment is made by bank card via the secure platform Stripe; the publisher never has access to the customer's banking details.

The first charge takes place 3 days after subscribing: cancelling before that date costs nothing.

The 72-hour trial map (trial page) is separate from the subscription: it is free, requires no credit card and carries no commitment. If the customer subscribes from their trial map, it becomes their permanent map, at the same address.

5. Term and renewal

The subscription is monthly and renews automatically. Each period is billed in advance.

6. Cancellation

The customer may cancel at any time, without reason or notice, from the subscription management portal (sign-in with the payment e-mail), from the link in Stripe billing e-mails, or by writing to contact@palmaplive.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; no further charge is made. The customer's map is then deactivated and their data deleted (see Privacy section).

7. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with the French Consumer Code, the customer has 14 days from subscribing to withdraw. By subscribing, the customer expressly requests immediate performance of the Service. In case of withdrawal within 14 days, the first month is fully refunded, simply by writing to contact@palmaplive.com.

This is the “14-day money-back guarantee” shown on the site.

8. Availability and maintenance

The publisher provides the Service on a best-effort basis. The Service depends on third-party systems outside the publisher's control: the customer's game server and host, the publisher of Palworld, hosting providers. Temporary interruptions (maintenance, third-party incidents, game updates changing data formats) may occur and do not constitute a breach of contract. The publisher strives to restore the Service as quickly as possible.

9. Customer obligations

• Provide valid credentials and keep them valid (changed password = interrupted map);
• Be entitled to connect the server in question to the Service;
• Inform the players of their server about the map and the data displayed;
• Not use the Service for unlawful purposes.

10. Liability

The publisher's total liability, all causes combined, is limited to the amount actually paid by the customer over the last twelve months. The publisher cannot be held liable for indirect damages, nor for data loss attributable to the customer's game server or its host.

11. Consumer mediation

In accordance with articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the customer may use a consumer mediator free of charge (appointment in progress, contact details available on request at contact@palmaplive.com). European online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing amicable resolution, the French courts have jurisdiction.

Data collected and purposes

• Customers (subscribers): e-mail, Discord handle, technical credentials of the game server (API/SFTP), used only to provide and administer the Service. These credentials are never shared with third parties nor used for any other purpose.
• Trial maps: server name, address and port of its REST API, administrator password of that API, contact left by the requester (e-mail or Discord handle), used only to create the trial map and reach its owner.
• Players of connected servers: nicknames, positions and game data from the server (progression, inventories), for displaying the map and statistics. The customer warrants that their players have been informed.
• Site visitors: anonymised audience measurement (hashed IP address, never stored in clear text). No advertising trackers.
• Payments: processed exclusively by Stripe (Stripe privacy policy); the publisher never sees banking details.

Cookies

The site only uses strictly functional cookies and storage (map choice, display preferences, chat session, linking a trial map to the subscription, valid for 7 days). No advertising or tracking cookies, so no consent banner is required.

Retention periods

Customer data: subscription duration + 30 days, then deletion (except legal accounting obligations). Game data and backups: subscription duration (continuous rotation). Unconverted contact requests: 12 months maximum.

Trial maps: the game server's REST API password and the requester's contact are erased 7 days after the end of the trial (expiry or cancellation); the trial map and its data, including the server's address and port, are deleted 30 days after the end of the trial. If the trial becomes a subscription, the map and its data are kept and follow the customer data retention periods.

Access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability: on request to contact@palmaplive.com (reply within 30 days). Complaints may be filed with the French CNIL (cnil.fr).
